AGH is a transdisciplinary fully-OA journal focused on health equity. Launched by the University of California Press in collaboration with the UC Global Health Institute in April 2021, the journal is also one of the first publications to be framed around the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). AGH seeks research in key SDG areas, including poverty, food security, gender equality, and planetary health. During the interview, Dr. Mardones shares how AGH is approaching the nexus between global health equity and climate justice and how the editorial team is continuing to develop the journal around the UN SDGs.
